Halloween is just around the corner and Townsquare Media stations are here to keep you informed about all the thrilling events taking place in Oklahoma City and beyond. From free monster movie marathons to family fright fests, there's something for everyone to enjoy this Halloween season. The Midwest City Library is hosting a free monster movie marathon, featuring Frankenstein, Dracula and other classic horror films. The marathon starts at 11am and refreshments will be provided.
Angel's Flight Home Care in Lawton is organizing a Family Fright Fest in their parking lot at 4645 W. There will be food, activities, games, live music and a free trunk or treat. Donations of canned food will be accepted to benefit the Lawton Food Bank. Chattanooga will present a film in the park on Saturday, October 29th at 8pm in Goodnight Park, next to the fire station. The Oklahoma Railroad Museum (3400 NE Grand Blvd) is hosting a Halloween Train with a 40-minute train ride, mini-golf course, treasure hunt and costume contest.
Evans Bailey from the Bigfoot Research Organization will be recounting his first encounter with Bigfoot in Honobia, the Bigfoot capital of Oklahoma. The Oklahoma City Zoo's Haunt the Zoo (2101 NE 50th St) has candy stands located along the Haunt the Zoo trail. In downtown Edmond (23 W 1st St, Edmond), there is a Halloween tour with spooky and paranormal ghosts, temporary stores, candy, a live DJ and a costume contest followed by a ghost tour by the Oklahoma Paranormal Association.
